In the historic centre of Viterbo, Via Mazzini is a concentration of history and beauty, with no fewer than two spindle-shaped fountains, the wonderful church of S. Giovanni in Zoccoli, and the ancient church of S. Maria in Poggio, the site of St Rose’s first burial.
A guided tour following the route of this long street will be an opportunity to tell the story of its places, monuments and people, and, for those who wish, to enjoy an excellent ice cream at the end of the walk.
