Sunday 5 February – 10:30 am
The second of three events for World Italian Cinema Day will take us to Bagnaia, inside the splendid Villa Lante, chosen as a film set on many occasions starting as early as the 1940s. In the third millennium, Villa Lante was chosen twice to be transformed into the Vatican Gardens: once in the 2011 film “Habemus Papam” by Nanni Moretti, and then in the 2016 TV series “The Young Pope” by Paolo Sorrentino. The guided tour will be an unmissable opportunity to explore the history of this magical place, from both a historical and a more strictly cinematic point of view.
