Two days on the Bolsena lakefront dedicated to fish heritage, culinary culture and respect for the environment, with tastings, side events, entertainment, education and show cooking with starred chefs and local excellences.
On 17 and 18 September, lake fish takes centre stage in all its facets — from cuisine to culture, from the economy to the territory — at Bolsena Fish, organised by the Rieti-Viterbo Chamber of Commerce and the Municipality of Bolsena and funded by the Ministry of Agriculture through the EMFF fund. Two days dedicated to fish, especially lake fish, involving restaurateurs, food-and-wine professionals and fishing-sector operators, without neglecting the culture and traditions of the territory. A packed programme exploring fish culture through its environmental, territorial, geological, nutritional and sustainability aspects, with show cooking, talks, book presentations and tastings pairing fish with other local products — pulses, potatoes, extra-virgin olive oil and wines.
