“Il Borgo si racconta”

È a 2020 project by PromoTuscia and Parole a Km 0, with Lazio Innova, Spazio Attivo Viterbo and the Municipality of Vitorchiano.
Forty participants from across Italy captured the distinctive identity of the village of Vitorchiano through stories written in a workshop led by author Carola Susani. The themes identified in the “suspended village” were: Vitorchiano in the Present, Vitorchiano in the Past, Vitorchiano in the Future.
The jury comprised Loredana Lipperini (author and radio presenter), Teresa Ciabatti (author, Il Corriere della Sera contributor, Strega Prize runner-up 2017), Daniele Mencarelli (poet and author, Strega shortlist 2019), Carola Susani (author), Raffaella Sarracino (Parole a Km 0) and Giulio Curti (Lazio Innova).
The panel selected three category winners from the 40 stories:

Special mention: Cristina Pontisso with the story “Fino all’essere”
