THE BRIGANDS’ FOREST
DATE: 2 JUNE
DESCRIPTION
The paths of the Lamone Forest lead us on an excursion deep in the green — a journey into the heart of an intricate, dense, labyrinthine and ever-changing wood. A vibrant place where even the rocks are covered in mosses and ferns. Walking through the thick of the forest almost feels like being lost in a primordial dark wood, but we also discover traces of a forest lived in not so long ago, made of woodcutters and cowboys, shepherds and hunters, brigands and sharecroppers.
WHERE: SELVA DEL LAMONE NATURE RESERVE – FARNESE
MEETING: 9:30 am in Farnese; ends in the afternoon
COST: free
