On 15 April 2015, in the heart of central Milan, at the renowned Libreria della Natura, PromoTuscia Viaggi e Congressi held a meeting to present a fascinating trip to Andalusia scheduled for the end of May this year, in which the absolute protagonists will be the gardens and landscapes of this captivating land.
The itinerary was presented by the Tuscan architect Pietro Giannini, a leading expert in European landscape gardens.
The very name given to this tour “In search of the origin of the garden” hinted that this was no mere presentation of a tour for nature lovers. With remarkable narrative power, Giannini managed to convey in advance the shifting emotions that this varied itinerary would offer participants.
The journey winds through the most celebrated works of botanical design by the architect Jean Forestier, crossing the iconic cities of Andalusia: Cordoba, Seville and Granada, wonderful historical-cultural blends where the Arab soul, the European Renaissance and the modern styles of the twentieth century coexist.
The public took part with great enthusiasm in this original presentation.
