A tourism development project enhancing the cultural, artistic and food-and-wine excellence of Civita di Bagnoregio.

Project description

“Civita in tutti i sensi” enhances Civita di Bagnoregio with creative-writing and fresco workshops, video-mapping projections in the square and sport and food activities. It builds on digital memorialisation, storytelling for cultural heritage, comics, animation and writing: cultural events using new technologies such as video-mapping and augmented reality, and workshops ranging from tradition to the contemporary.

Objectives

The aim is to offer a wide range of quality cultural experiences, drawing on nationally renowned names and the best expressions of the territory, to enhance and promote the area. A programme geared towards quality tourism hospitality, where the synergy between organisers and institutions ensures success and accessibility, fostering a qualified and competitive tourism system.

Results

A quality tourism product conveyed through art: a short film, but also workshops and seminars to build travel packages and offer visitors something beyond the classic hit-and-run visit – the chance to stay four or five days discovering Civita and its surroundings, starting from the historic centre of Bagnoregio.
