Our guide will take you to discover the charming old town and the Archaeological Museum, which displays finds from excavations carried out in the area since the 1970s, relating to two main settlements of ancient Tiberine Sabina: Cures and Eretum. Of particular importance are the terracotta throne of the mysterious king of Eretum and its funerary set. The next stop is the evocative Museum of Silence, housed in a cloistered convent — the Monastery of the Hermit Poor Clares of Fara Sabina — where the rule of absolute silence once reigned. At the end of the visit, a lunch-tasting at L’Antica Bottega, a delightful spot run by a young and talented local chef.
