The Bosco del Sasseto, at the foot of the Torre Alfina castle (Acquapendente), is a monumental forest with over a hundred tree species, among ancient trees, volcanic rocks and a neo-Gothic mausoleum: a fairy-tale place, accessible only by guided tour. Acquapendente is a historic stop on the Via Francigena.
