LA SELVA DEI BRIGANTI

DESCRIPTION
The trails of the Selva del Lamone lead us on a walk deep in greenery — into a intricate, dense, labyrinthine wood that is always changing. A very alive place where rocks are covered in green moss and ferns, birds warn each other of our steps, and wildlife hidden in the canopy watches us pass.
Walking through the thick forest almost feels like being lost in a primeval wood — yet we can also discover traces of a not-so-distant past of woodcutters and butteri, shepherds and hunters, brigands and sharecroppers…
