The Lavender Festival in Tuscania
Lavender — known for its splendid colours ranging from violet to blue, in perfect harmony with the colours and light of summer, as well as for its unmistakable fragrance — has in recent years become a symbol of Tuscania.
Among the countryside of Tuscania, between Etruscan necropolises and Romanesque churches, the lavender fields turn the summer purple. The bloom, between June and July, has become an eagerly awaited event, with fragrances, photography and artisanal products.
